| You are probably asking what is a culinary party? Simply it is, the best time you can have while being tastefully educated about food. My name is James Jens and I believe that this world would be better off if more people were “foodies”. A foodie is some one who not only needs food (for everyone needs) but loves the social, cultural, and entertainment excitement that surrounds food. I am setting out to make “foodies” out of people one dinner at a time. The premise about culinary parties is this: take one part dinner, one part cooking class, two parts great time, and three parts best friends. Let socialize for a couple of hours and become educated, happy, and full of great food and drink. That’s a culinary party! The best part about Culinary Parties is you can help create what you want. Instead of wishing an ingredient (I.e. lobster, truffles, organic produce . . .)was on a restaurant menu, YOU create your dinner ingredient list, and I create the menu using only your favorite items. Things to Consider: For those who merely eat to live, food is substance, life, and energy, For the “foodies” of the world, food is art, entertainment, and acceleration of good times. Most, merely dine out to “get their fix” of fine cuisine—leaving restaurants with bewildered full stomachs and left having to drive home. I bring eleven plus years of culinary expertise to your kitchen and provide not only the substance but also the “life of the party” emotion in food. Whether it’s a dinner prior to the theater, an anniversary celebration, or fun with friends before the big game, let food and culinary excellence lead the way to a hassle free, enjoyable and memorable event. Meet the Chef: My name is James C Jens and I am overly passionate about my career, industry, and love- affair-with-food. I knew early that all food is good, but great food is excitement. I learned my craft in my mother’s kitchen and at Fox Valley Technical College where I received my associates degree. My world wind career took off with stints at fine dinning establishments throughout Wisconsin, Colorado, and the United States Virgin Islands.
